After a 6 month hiatus, Negima Girl Chronicles is back.

Yes, after completing whatever Nighthawk was doing since July, he has returned and promises to start making episodes again throughout 2009. We couldn't show an actual episode unfortunately, since he managed to break the camera (for more information, see the thread link for Negima Girl Chronicles)

Here instead, however, is a special edition of NGC; Negima Girl chronicles - A look at 2008 with special hosts Akira and Yuna. Both girls will take a look at the last year of episodes made by Nighthawk and Gamefish, making their own comments of the series so far.

Today from the fansub division, we have a double release for you guys.

Nogizaka Haruka Ep 11 - Haruka's birthday is coming up soon, and Yuuto is invited. Having spent so much time with her, he is looking to give her something special. With a little help from Nobunaga, he finds the perfect gift for her. However, when he arrives at the island for her party, it turns out that the guest list consists of VIPs from all over the world. Is he really out of his league by being there?

ef - a tale of melodies Ep 3 - Although Yuu keeps telling Yuuko to stay away from him, he can't turn away when he finds out about how she's being treated. Could it be that he actually does care for her?

In our other story, Mizuki is quite concerned as Kuze seems to be avoiding her. Why is he hiding from her? Taking a stroll along the tracks to the old train station, we run into a familiar face from one of our previous stories. With the answers she has so far, what choice will she make about Kuze?

Today's release from our fansub division is episode 12 of Clannad After Story. With Yoshino guiding Tomoya along with his job, everything seems to be going well with Tomoya, with even the possibility of a chance to move up. However, certain events will unfortunately change things in a blink of an eye and now is the time that Tomoya will make some adult decisions, the paths that he will choose.

This comes to you courtesy of our advance chapter team formed to keep those who are reading the bleeding edge to stay abreast of the story with Aquastar's releases. We welcome Athos back to the team as lead editor for that group. Our plan is to bring these releases to you relatively quickly.

We understand that this may come as a surprise to those of you awaiting chapter 224, but rest assured, as we have done once before when we got behind on releases, our backlog team is hard at work completing those. And for our 3rd release for today, AQS, Sprocket-Hole, and TheWafflehouse are pleased to present the Clannad Movie. This was the full length motion picture adaptation of the Clannad story done by Toei Animation, who you probably remember from the original Kanon series and the AIR Movie.

In this 90 minute feature length film, we look into Tomoya's life which is about to completely change when he meets Nagisa on that hill leading to their school. From that first day to the school festival and after, the dream that he has always had he will eventually find the meaning to with the help of his friends even in his darkest of times.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people on the AQS team including Jaceryl from our scanlation division, IJ of Sprocket-Hole, velocity7 of TheWaffleHouse, and DGreater1 for a job well done as this definitely wasn't easy to work on, with real life and other projects keeping us busy, plus numerous technical issues related to how the movie and the source itself were produced. This was one project that I think we could all say tested our patience on numerous occasions, but in the end, we made it and are pleased with the final result.

Our 2nd release for today is Episode 2 of ef - a tale of melodies.

Yuuko still seems to be following Himura around. She wants him to remember her, but at the same time help him forget his sad memories. And how does she know about that dream he's having?

Mizuki spends another day with Kuze, this time doing some laundry, though while also having to take care of him. But what is Kuze hiding from her?

For this release, we have two articles for you. The first being episode 2 specific notes. If you've been wondering about the German text in the background of the series' opening sequence, we've managed to translate that for you. A very special thanks goes out to Gamefish for his time and effort translating the numerous screens shown during the minute and a half sequence.

The first of a set of releases for you this weekend is Episode 11 of Clannad ~After Story~. Now that Tomoya has his new apartment to live in and a job with Yoshino's company, he's beginning to feel the demand of working out in the real world. Of course, Nagisa cooking for him and helping him around his daily life does make things a lot easier. Also, ever wonder what'd be like to play a little prank on Sanae?
